SDS Early Career Spotlight Series

We are excited to highlight the work of undergraduates, graduate students, and early career scholars in disability studies! If you are interested in being highlighted on Society for Disability Studies’ social media pages, please complete the following form with any information that you’d like us to share on your behalf.

If this form is inaccessible to you, please contact communications@disstudies.org. We can send alternatives over Word, Google docs, or hold a phone or video call to discuss.

DSQ Author Spotlight 

If you would like to be highlighted on the SDS social media pages (Twitter, Bluesky, and Instagram) please fill out the following form with as much or as little information as you are comfortable with sharing. We plan to publish an author spotlight series as soon as the new edition of DSQ is published. 

If this form is inaccessible to you, please email the Communications and Publications Committee at communications@disstudies.org to find an alternative that meets your access needs. Alternatively, you can download a Google Doc/Word Version and fill it out. Please email completed Doc/Word versions to communications@disstudies.org. We can also hold a phone or video call to discuss. 

Please note: the form is editable, so you don’t have to fill it out in one setting. When you hit “Submit,” you should receive a link to edit your response. 

Once we’ve received your final submission, we will draft up an author spotlight thread. The Social Media Team will share our drafted thread with you by email before publishing it on our social media accounts. We will not publish without your confirmation and consent.
